EM’S ECCENTRICITIES: I love wearing things that have secret significance or meaning.
ON MY MIND: I am learning that they greatest way to greet a day is through morning meditation. It fills my mind and body with optimism, inspiration, and tranquility. Furthermore, I have started practicing the Surya Namaskara, or Sun Salutation. Yoga is a discipline that I would really like to add my life because I keep reading about its immense physical, mental, and spiritual effects. The Sun Salutation seems like the perfect way to start this journey.

MOVIE MOMENT: (It’s A Wonderful Life)
Mary: Is this the ear you can’t hear on? George Bailey, I’ll love you till the day I die.
ON MY MIND: holiday lights are draped between the alleyway streets of Arezzo and christmas lyrics are filling my mind. The song that comes to mind most often is “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.” I can’t wait to be home. I can’t wait for hot chocolate filled with tiny marshmallows, the beach boys christmas vinyl playing on my record player, snowy walks, kisses under mistletoe, cozying up beneath my tree, driving around to see the lights, and simply being filled with holiday cheer. happy decemburrr everyone! :)

ON MY MIND: People come into your life for a reason. Today I am thankful for Laurel Persa. She has traveled the world with me and taught me many things along the way. She has taught me the simplicity of life when one chooses to live as a nice person and has inspired me to better my mind, body, and soul. Our minds have grown to think alike and we share many of the same hopes, dreams, and desires. I wish her always all the happiness in the world for she is a person that truly deserves it.
1. Memorize something everyday. Not only will this leave your brain sharp and your memory functioning, you will also have a huge library of facts to bust out at any moment. Poetry, sayings and philosophies are your best options.
I would like to start by memorizing the twelve zodiac signs, their specific dates, the traits that typify each sign, and the predicted compatibility between the signs. The zodiac has always fascinated me and I would like to learn more about it. It is said after all that the strongest strength of a Gemini is our relentlessly curious nature :)
EM’S ECCENTRICITIES: I am very picky when it comes to scents. When hunting for a new perfume I find many of them to be too overpowering or, more commonly, I lump them into the “smells like an old lady” category. Last year, I discovered Twilight Woods by Bath and Body Works and fell in love with it. The scent is a blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals, and Tuscan cypress that combine to create a hypnotic fragrance inspired by a romantic walk in the enchanted woods. It is the perfect scent for this time of year and I cannot wait to buy more of it when I return to the States.
